Before you read about the history of our website, we'd like you to know more about the two owners of Hidden Star. The owner and creator of Hidden Star is Art. He has been a webmaster and graphic designer since 2006, and has a large amount of experience in graphic and web design. Previously, he owned two Neopets-related websites. Jade, the co-owner of Hidden Star, has been a webmistress and graphic designer since she was around 9 years old. Having many years of experience in owning a website and creating graphics, Jade is very experienced webmistress.

Hidden Star opened on June 3rd, 2009. It was opened after Art closed a well-known Neopets fansite called Aqua-Neo.net. It was planned that Hidden Star would focus less on Neopets, and more on graphic and web design. When Hidden Star first opened, feedback was mostly positive. The first layout was gray and gold themed. During the summertime (June to August), Hidden Star was constantly updated, with new features and content being added. During this time, Hidden Star's layout changed several times. It went from the gray and gold layout to an abstract green layout to a beach layout. However, as school began to start again, Hidden Star turned into a weekly-updated site. On New Years' 2010, a new layout was unveiled; a gray and green layout featuring a leaf.

Our mission is to provide you with quality content. We want be a site that people can look to for quality graphics, layouts, and resources. That's why we're constantly updating and adding our collection of designs.
